RAINBOW BRIDGE

Am/Can Ch Applewood’s Lord Darcy Cameron CDX was our first Bearded Collie.

He taught us everything you are NOT supposed to do when buying a beardie.

He came home at Christmas – a big No-No
We were told to paper train him - Wrong
He was force trained in obedience and agility – Bad

He was a very entertaining obedience competitor and an early pioneer for both flyball and agility and lived over 17 years without any illness at all.

Am/Can Ch Colbara Fiona Cameron Blue ROM was the first love of my life, my first Heart dog.  She came from Barbara Blake at Colbara and she was as different as night is from day to D’Arcy.  She excelled in the show ring, bringing home group placing and Specialty wins.  She was a wonderful producer and earned her ROM in both countries.  All beardies produced at Cameron today have Fiona’s bloodline in them.

Am/Can Ch Cameron’s Scots Blu Belle CD
Belle was another heart dog.  We remember her most as being the clown.  She was a counter shopper extraordinaire.  Nothing was safe.  I remember on a trip up north coming back to the van and finding a crowd around it.  She had got her face stuck in the worm cup and was sitting patiently waiting for someone to remove it.  Worms eaten, of course.   Belle had a stunning face, when not dressed in worms, and she graces the  front of many porcelain pieces.  She was the cover beardie for Rosalind Porcelain  by Vlladimir.
